I’m a podcast producer from Asheville, North Carolina, currently based in Los Angeles.
I’m a lead producer for Pushkin Industries, Malcolm Gladwell’s production company.
I also co-host a Pushkin podcast, Come As You Are with sex educator Emily Nagoski.
Before Pushkin, I worked with Kaitlin Prest’s audio art company Mermaid Palace, Headspace Studios, Transmitter Media, WNYC’s On the Media, Making Gay History and the Oxford American Magazine’s podcast “Points South.”
My reporting has aired nationally on NPR’s All Things Considered and Morning Edition. I’ve also reported locally for WUNC North Carolina Public Radio, West Virginia Public Broadcasting, and WCAI.
I attended the nine-week Transom Story Workshop in Fall 2018. rip transom.
I also earned a certificate in documentary studies from Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies in 2017. I’m interested in unsentimental stories about identity and the American South.
